I had similar experience with a horse about 16hh tb x when I was a teenager. Behaved wonderfully on a brief trial, but his feet were a mess, and spent weeks and ££ sorting them out. When I eventually rode him he bolted dreadfully, bucked to high heaven and went for my mum. Mum phoned owner to say he had to go back she said "oh yes he's done that to me before!"
My ankle has never quite recovered.

Hello Trish.farm what are you looking for? There's a lovely 15hhish welshxcob  here for sale. 8-9yr. He was bred at the livery yard/ riding school I keep mine on. A very trusting genuine pony, not a superstar at anything, just an honest chap who tries his best. Maybe too far away (central Scotland) but pm me if interested
