I bought it for Tim as a birthday present a couple of years ago when it was priced at £50. The most i have ever spent on a book.

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

I can recommend this The Sheep Keepers Veterinary Handbook - I worked as a nurse with Judith Charnley and she is brilliant. Her book is perfect. Its my bible.

Personally I like the TV vet sheep book, Eddie Strainton (sp?)
Foot trimming etc is out of date but I found the lambing pics and explanations a godsend
Sheep are like the Borg, a collective hive mind and resistance is futile.

We picked up the T V Vet sheep book In a charity shop for 50p and it has been invaluable.
As you say some of information is out of date but for diagnosis it does the job.
