Hope you'll show us the bear when it's finished.  I'd love a bear but I need to complete the tree I am slowly getting done, as and when I can afford it and then 3 months waiting for an appt usually.  I was all set to get a bear paw a couple years ago but then someone told me it had connotations of lesbianism in North America and as I'm not that way inclined I opted to change my mind and went for the tree instead..

My birthday present to myself from a couple weeks ago is another session on Monday coming, first I've managed since December so it's looked a bit odd meantime but nobody sees my legs this time of year anyway   First time I've booked a full (4 hour) session, 2 has been my max til now, but it seems the right time to be adding a few leaves or at least a catkin and some buds perhaps

Anyway, anyone that knows what a wuss I am will know the pain level isn't dire if I am booking 4 hours at a time having experienced 2 more than once..

and @mojocafa I love that idea, even if you're kidding, what a buzz

I've got a celtic hare surrounded by ivy leaves on my left upper arm from shoulder to elbow and a bat and a  peacock feather fan on my right upper arm from shoulder to elbow. Both arms need finishing but that's for when I've got time and money. I usually get them done during the winter. My tattooist is a very interesting lady who used to pilot Boeings!

Funny i found this thread, since i'm in deep researches for a tattoo idea.
Looking into celtic symbols myself. Already decided about the artist, it's hard picking up something to get tattooed though. I also know the place, on the back of my neck.
