I had a great time in Shetland judging at the Horse & Pony show last Saturday. Well turned out riders, horses and ponies. Sunday had to be cancelled due to bad weather which was a shame. One of my best highlights was watching a Shetland pony and rider jumping in the working hunter class. Compared to the bigger ponies in this class the Shetland was a star flying over the jumps one of which had teddy bears hanging from the jump pole. another had water trays with rubber ducks. May have been the smallest in the class but he was something worth watching.
