Hi from the Wee County
« on: October 21, 2010, 06:58:34 am »
Hi,
I’ve been visiting TAS for a couple of months now and have taken the plunge to join in.  Mainly ‘cause I want to wish TAS a very happy birthday.
Been spending a lot of time getting info on smallholding and when I google a question TAS almost always comes up as the place to get the answer, so I’ve become a bit of an addict.
Hoping to buy or rent a bit of land in the near future to put together all my plans; started out as a couple of acres for hens and veg a couple of years ago when I was looking after my Dad’s veg garden for Mum after Dad had passed away.  Now, if I don’t start soon I’ll be needing a ranch to do all the things I’m dreaming about.  But don’t worry my feet are firmly on the ground, even although it’s imaginary ground at the moment.
Will just have to be content (at the moment) with picking everyone’s brains here on TAS.
Congrats Dan and Rosemary on a great site and thanks for sharing your new home with us, good luck with everything.
