Champagne & chocolate truffles or....?
« on: February 25, 2011, 06:27:05 pm »
Hi all,

I've been house-sitting for in-laws and OH let slip that they want to give me a pressie for sorting out all the decorators/electricians/plumbers etc in their absence.  He suggested champagne and truffles. Aargh. Don't really do chocolate! Would much rather have a good book.

What would you rather have? Unless you LIKE choccies......!   ::)

Happy Hippy,

That made me chuckle.  Bizarre, out in left field (no pun intended). Hope there are lots of other atypical responses to laugh about too.  :D ;D

Plums everywhere!

Used to (occasional) grumpy OH, boisterous kids (used to be a nanny), don't mind the cockerel and goats. Tell you what - I'd house-sit for you for a shed load of bath bombs/few soaps!!! (lovely whilst soaking in bath reading a 'good book'!).  :&> :&> :&> :&> :&>

We built a pond last year but went ahead without too much planning, now the edges are not straight and it never got properly finnished, be warned, the pond liner was fairly cheap from the internet!! good luck!
