I ordered the organic catalogue - it's a mine of useful information and comes with another booklet about green manures.

Interesting although their forage rape is quite expensive. 

We are very soon to try some forage rape on an area of about 20 acres we are working on reclaiming.  The contractor who has been doing the heavy work told me he was very cynical about using it until he saw the results on someone else's land and has now used it just broadcast and trampled in by sheep on his own land with great results.  Fingers crossed.
