Hello from Pembrokeshire
« on: September 21, 2012, 10:14:52 am »
Hi everyone - we recently came into possession of a patch of beautiful land in Pembrokeshire. It belonged to my grandmother. She ran a small flock of Jacob Sheep for 25 years. We're looking at expanding the flock with other breeds. We also have other big plans: an orchard, a small patch of coppice (perhaps horse logging), a veggie patch, the construction of a log cabin on one of the hills for guests and visitors. We want to manage the land correctly and to boost biodiversity. Perhaps we;ve bitten off more than we can chew! We'll soon find out!

We're incredibly fortunate to be on the land and we want to do it justice. We joined the site for advice and input so any help that those with more experience can give us will be hugely appreciated.

Many thanks from us all at Cyncoed
