Goodbye Lucky
« on: September 14, 2012, 07:53:44 pm »
We had to say bye to our 15 year old pointer today  :(  She was bred by OH and was the only one in the litter.  She never grew to much bigger than a spaniel but she was a cracking working dog.  Couldn't have asked for a better game finder.  I would work her on areas with little grouse as she had sooo much drive.  She lived for finding grouse.

Goodbye Lucky, you were a good 'un!

So sorry, Helen, it's the worst thing to lose a really special friend.  :'(

She'll be hunting over the other side of the Rainbow Bridge now.  Happy Hunting, Lucky

So sorry  :bouquet: .  Its so hard to lose a pet when they have been part of your daily life for so long. Remember and talk about the good times you had with her, it'll help with the grieving process.  Take care.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Helen.  She sounds like a wonderful companion and working partner.

Thanks all. End of an era for us as she was our last pointer.  We buried her up on the moor, where we scattered her mother's ashes where she can hear the grouse forever.
