I saw that too but it was later in the week - so hopefully the forecast is wrong - but it's bitterly cold here today in the wind.

I saw it forcast on the countryfile weather - snow on wednesday for Scotland/high ground and rain for the south. Here's hoping they've got it wrong  ;)

Last year on the last day of March we had 3 foot snow drifts which stayed into the first week of April.  It can still snow up here in May, so what's the surprise ?  ;D

Just down the road from Sandy we have different weather - bright and sunny, cold but no sign of snow.  Now Kelty was a different matter half an hour ago - bitter, cloudy and threatening

I remember being glad last year that I wasnt lambing in March, we had snow until a week before our April lambing started.....so am expecting a bit of white n fluffy before we are through. The good thing is (i) I have a wee bittie of hay left for the sheep (ii) it wont last too long unlike the early winter snows!

Yes I have seen several forecasts for snow but not the kind that stays, just passing through ;) particularly at lower levels.

It's blowing a hoolie here today and bitter cold overnight :(  I couldn't get to sleep and had to go put on a pair of socks ;D
