Greeting from Devon
« on: December 29, 2010, 07:31:30 pm »
Hello just stumbled across this site - smallholding self sufficiency and permaculture have long been an interest of mine.

Grew up in a rural village call Steyning and milked cows before going to school - latered trained in at Plumpton agricultural college.

Have spent the last 20 years coaching sailing as a commercial yacht skipper. Am now based in Plymouth Devon - studying photography.

Look forward to linking up with interesting people and getting back to my rural roots.

Cheers Tim

Hi and welcome from West Cornwall   :D
What is your subject interest for photography? I used to do some black and white work a looooong time ago - spent many an hour in the darkroom  ;D Now I just use a point and shoot digital camera, alot easier and quicker but not as satisfying!

Hi! Welcome to the site from north Wales.   My OH's family are keen sailors too.  OH's Dad has a small business making mast ladders here in Wales.  I prefer the countryside to the seaside myself, although I can be swayed.. but only when the weather's good  :D
