First 2014 kids
« on: January 12, 2014, 10:22:45 am »
Domino looked like she would kid yesterday and I was determined to stay calm and patient!! Not easy for me I can tell you.

It paid off - she delivered 2 male kids without too much fuss (very good for a pygmy!!) to my delight - she's a first timer and it was absolutely great she managed on her own and did everything as she should. The first was feeding before the second was delivered and they both seem very strong - I hope our kidding seaon continues like this  :fc:

Pygmy Goats, Shetland Sheep, Zip & Indie the Border Collies, BeeBee the cat and a wreak of a building to renovate!!

Rosemay al I did was word of encouragement and got the iodine out.

Sokel - at least your jobs will be done at the moment - I wasted most of the day playing with them - but it's fun.

So many good names coming from friends don't know what to pick!! One will suddenly suite him I'm sure.

Thank you all, after 2 c-sections last yar I was apprehensive with Domino, got to admit though I did reduce their feed a bit this year!!
