It’s a great day out for all the family, and all profits go to local charities and clubs. The Wayland Show is one of the oldest one-day Agricultural Shows shows in the country, now in its 139th year.
The well attended livestock competitions, which has increased in size every year, is aways popular with young and old so why not watch the cattle, pig or sheep judging.
Anybody equestrian minded can admire everything from miniature horses right up to shire horses – what a comparison in size!
After a busy morning at the show, you could always enjoy a cold beer overlooking the main ring or feast on the many food outlets located around the showground to help you to recharge your batteries, before taking in the rest of the attractions in the afternoon.
Dont forget to look at the steam engines, including the Brandon District Mini Steam Engines, vintage tractors and classic cars which will all be on display throughout the day.
