This year’s Mid Suffolk Show on Sunday May 1st will have a very different look about it, with animals galore to fascinate and entertain, plus plenty of mechanical horse power on display too. Here's a taste of what you can expect to see and do!
Suffolk Horse Society.......Do visit these amazing horses in the Heavy Horse collecting area to see them being groomed, braided and harnessed ready for the arena.
Horkesley Park Suffolk Punch.......get "up close and personal" and actually work one of this pair of working geldings, under full supervision of the heavy horse grooms. Suitable for adults and children of 8 years and older (who are under the supervision of their parents at all times).
Learn to Swing Jive 40's / 50's style. Watch Esther, David and their dance team Jive to the music.. then when you feel your feet tapping and start to sway to the music take the opportunity to join in with Esther.
Children can enjoy a ride again this year with Mr Saberton's 3" scale steam traction engine, taking rides around the showground.
Lowestoft Dog Agility Display......they're back!! Watch the fun and games as these dogs are put through their paces. It's fun to watch their crazy antics.
Rare Breeds Society Trust...Children love to see the various rare breeds up close and this year they will be joined by the Suffolk Young Farmers bringing even more animals to the show, watch the young handlers as they show their animals at their very best.
East Coast Truckers Charity......We are very proud to have the East Coast Truckers Charity join the Mid Suffolk Show this year, please give them your support as all proceeds go to help special needs children, fundraising for their world famous major event of the summer namely the Children's Convoy when they have around 80 trucks taking children with special needs to Pleasurewood Hills and Great Yarmouth for the day.
