Has anyone grown them and how did it go?
 I'm really tempted to give it a go but have no idea if they need a lot of heat or what else they might benefit from.

   also called Chufas nuts, they actually are no nuts of any kind, it's rhizomes. Here they are used as fishing bait but abroad you have to buy the things in health food shops. Only recently mentioned on the superfoods program on C4 (I think) what reminded me I'd eaten them somewhere!  Really tasty
