Showing and transportation

I am showing some lambs in a few months time, afterwards they are being sold to someone about 350 miles away. Is it possible for them to collect them from the show ground as it is half way?  Are the show organisers able to manage this on the movements licences?

Interesting question. Can't see why it would be any more of a problem than buying from sheep sale/market. I'm sure this will have been done by someone on the forum who can confirm this. email the department who deals with movements and ask the same question I would suggest.

Yes  no problem do a movement to showground then movement from showground to destination.

Thanks. I thought that must be the case but didn't want to fall flat on my face at my first show!

So are you setting the sale price before they win first prize, or afterwards?  :trophy:

Ha ha. I wish!  In the unlikely event we show up all the experienced competitors I will settle for feeling very smug and my vendor will have a good deal.
