Hi I'm Ross I'm from Dundee in Scotland very interested in the countryside & nature living off the land.

Hello, Ross. I've had two grandchildren picking over a kilo of mushrooms this morning! We have also been looking over what will be a huge haul of hazelnuts, sloes, hawthorn berries and rose-hips.
The sweet chestnuts are plentiful but I think will be small this year.
But this is soft Devon, maybe quite different where you are!

Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

I can use my ferrets for rabbits if needed or rifle   Depends what pest needs felt with    Pm me if you need more details
