Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.

do you have rosebay willowherb around? my lot go crazy for it. she may like the juicy fleshy stems?

Fingers crossed she is on the mend. We have adders here in the Lake District. I see maybe a couple a year, usually disappearing into the bracken. Horse nearly stood on one once and my labrador got a touch too close to one last year but it didn't strike.


The unseasonably cold weather will be making them a bit slow so they probably aren't getting out of the way quick enough.
