Returning after a 7 year absence..smallholding took over and took up too much time. 8 years smallholding now, grow lots of veg and keep Llanwenog sheep, Anglo-nubian dairy goats, kune pigs , chickens and dogs. Good to be back.

Hi, there are several of us in Carmarthenshire. Roughly where are you?

Hi Bionic, near Newcastle Emlyn. Just about to re-join Dyfed smallholders as well.

Hi Caroline 1, we got ours last August. They are delightful, produce the best milk I have ever had. The kids they have just had are an absolute joy (a for sale ad will follow soon). My main tip - learn as much as you can about goat care before you make your first visit to see potential stock, or take an experienced goat keeper with you. I fell in love with ours straight away and only discovered what awful "care" their feet had received under their previous owner when I got them home. It's been a long and expensive job to get them back into condition. However they are for me the most enchanting animals I have ever looked after! Good luck.
