Does anyone know of any bee keeping courses in or around North Dorset.


I have had a couple of hours tutoring from a local friend, I have a hive and the suit, smoke box, hive tool etc, just not feeling confident enough yet to take the plunge.  it all still seems really complicated.  .

Perhaps join the British Bee Keepers association and see who is their local group ..
Most of these guys will happily tell you about bees and let you manipulate their hives etc to get you established.
