Does anyone have any sows that are no longer required due to age or whatever?  I require some to fulfil orders in December so happy to take them soon as long as they are fit for the food chain.  I am in NE Scotland so the closer the better but willing to collect from anywhere within reasonable distance.

I know there are other posts on here saying otherwise, but we have always found sow meat really unpleasant.  Something goes wrong with the fat, and the meat is dark and tough.  Quite different from the pork and bacon from less than 1 year old pigs.
