Does anyone have an old Root chopper in need of new blades?
« on: October 23, 2014, 02:12:24 pm »
Hello,

A friend of mine had recently done a refurb on my root chopper, freeing the movement and replacing the blades.

He approached a metal worker who had a template made up to make these blades. And can now supply them for £200 for a set of four. They are like gold dust to find! Price will come down if we can get enough orders!

More picture and measurements can be supplied if required!

Hi, yes, I've been pondering replacing the blades on ours, can you still get them as can't seem to find any online. Be lost without it as we feed chopped fodder beet to our small flock and I don't fancy going back to chopping with a spade
