The way I make it doesn't do quantities but has a rough "recipe".
Bit of butter in the bottom of a saucepan. Add a little bit of cut up bacon and fry it for a few mins. Add onion/leek and a clove of garlic and fry until soft. Add in chicken stock, some herbs and rest of veg (potato, carrot, swede, cabbage etc) and some chopped up/pulled chicken. Bring to boil, then simmer for a few hours. Taste and add in salt/pepper if needed and then blend around 1/2 of it before eating
