the article says they shot 100 of a wild population of 300 surely they should have carried on and finished the job.
i'm sorry if that sounds harsh but i cant imagine 200 wild "micro" pigs being much safer than 300...
So, say 100 of the remaining pigs are sows, and 25% are of breeding age, with an everage of 10 piglets twice a year, and more on the way as the gilts mature. That's an awful lot of pigs, very soon!
