Land management advice please
« on: September 08, 2014, 08:19:10 pm »
Just taken off two GOSs who rather delighted in ploughing up their acre(ish) field. We're rotating land so no more pigs will return there till spring 2016. Meantime, we'd like to top it regularly but it's so rough now that it breaks the shear pin on the topper...
What's best way to level out the area? Should we get it harrowed or just drive tractor over it?
Very novice! Have only our hands, a rake & beloved Massey F (with topper!)
Any advice very welcome!

any kind of heavy harrow should do it, back of a tractoe or a quad depending on shape, gradient of field
