This is my list so far for making life easier in the winter

Order logs
Lay slabs at goat shed doors to prevent quagmire
More outside lights

More mastick in eaves to help prevent draughts

No doubt much more will be added, l
pygmy goats, gsd, border collie, scots dumpys, cochins, araucanas, shetland ducks and geese,  marrans, and pea fowl in a pear tree.

I don't want to think about the W word. I'm enjoying all this heat too much.

Hope the op goes well though and that you are ok managing everything on your own.
