Hi all

Just wanted to say a quick hello. Having been a visitor for a while I have finally decided to register!

I've kept hens before, and have worked lambing and calving.... Although I'm now heading back to Uni to become a science teacher.

My OH has just gotten into growing his own veg and every plant pot is now filled and every windowsill has some form of seedling on!

In 10 years I would love to have a small holding of my own, so better start saving!

Only just spotted this - are you moved up this way yet?  :wave:

I'm from the West Midlands originally, lived near Coventry working on a dairy farm for a while many decades ago.  In North Cumbria now, farming for real  :)

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
