mother hen with mites

Our chicks all hatched today!!! Our first time!!! It's exciting isn't it.
I think mother hen may have mites - is it ok to dust her with paragon?
Would it harm the chicks?
Thanks for any advice.

Problem is Katog the dust will get in their eyes as the chicks roost in her feathers. I don't know what to suggest. All the standard sprays are likely to affect the chicks as well with the fumes until they have dried and I don't know what effect they will have on contact either. Normally the hen is throughly dusted/ treated before she sits, so that this situation doesn't arise.
