well its worth a look

highlighted not so micro pigs, sick pigs being sold and my favorite pick your pig on from a video clip.

imo they all looked like kk's

the advertisement picks looked identical to our 1 1/2 week old piglets.

how much more press do people need before they catch on there are no micro pigs.

Nah, they didn't look like Kunes  ;)
Kunes are WAY cuter, WAY smaller and WAY cheaper  ;D
Their snouts were too long for KK's and apart from Percy (who was the spotty one with Pigwig) and Wendy's pigs they were all 'micos' - no piri piri's on them and WAY too big to be pure KK  ;) The belly shape on the two in the conservatory was pure pot bellied pig imho - but crossed with something bigger  ::)
Good to finally see some good, sensible advice on the TV (RSPCA guy was good) lets hope it gets repeated on prime time or watchdog soon !

Micropigs article at 27:40, it's about 7 minutes.  Pretty much echoes all the things that have been said on this site.

Ah, just seen Karen's post - I didn't see the first bit!  It's five minutes at 09:12.

The whole programme could have been given to this, and a RSPCA inspector talking sense for a change!

Well done Dom & Co. about time this was aired properly on the TV - can't believe the scams that some people are getting up to - it's like the b***dy puppy farmers >:(

Mind - I do think that some folks must have more money than sense - £1,000 for a piglett  :o & I must admit to having a bit of a naughty giggle over the 6foot fencing made out of chicken wire  ::)

It's disgusting - & it's always the animals that end up suffering  :(

Thanks for the link. I'll watch it later.

I, too, am amazed that anyone pays the prices these people are asking. Total madness.

lets hope people soon get the message there are no micro pigs.

Exactly!

There were some so called micro pigs on display in the pig tent at Nidderdale show last year to which i and several other pig keepers strongly objected. People seem to be so guillable, maybe prior to them buying they should be made to meet Hilary & Digby or my Delia & Gerry, they'd soon change their minds sharpish! ;D
