After a weeks delay because of the rain we've had, we finally got Adelaide & the piglets out in the field today - thought you might like to see them

Yeah, I managed to crop out the pen next door where the Large Blacks, Berkshires and 6 month old Kunes are, cos they have dug (and dug and dug) - it looks like a mud pit  But they're moving to bigger fields in the next week or so once I get the electric fence rigged up 
But you can see that even in 'Dads' field there's plenty of grass - another huge advantage to KK's 

Loosey, once you've had piglets (well, not you but the pig - you know what I mean !) I think you have a refound respect for your pig and could spend HOURS in the pen with them all

they are just like our litter! black mum, 1 brown, 2 tri and then a mixture of blacks and b/w!  i think (if its the same adelaide) she may be related to my pigs, is she a "brucklay" jenny or awakino?

She's Tillykeira Awakino and dad is Brucklay Te whangi 
I'm hoping, if she goes to my little 'Andrew' boar (ginger) that I'll get some more tri-colours, but we'll just have to wait and see 
I'm keeping a black & white gilt (with 2 piri's  ) from this litter to breed with him too, as well as my brown gilt that I kept from the last litter - she's got the most amazing gold trim to her ears 
Ooooooh ! Can't wait til next year
