::)Hello everyone, it's me AGAIN, hope I am not going to stir people up yet again, BUT, it just came to mind that although chickens are primitive and close relatives of dinosaurs, they are birds and I know several birds that talk, not sure any other animal’s "mimics” human language but chickens do have a very wide range vocally. I used to have a parrot that picked things up very quickly, so, in my view, chickens do talk, mine are very noisy and are constantly chatting or mumbling, surely it is not all basic necessary sounds that other animals and birds make to warn of danger, express the need for food or a mate they must also say other things, whatever they have to chat about, hope they are not aware of the current economic  downfall or they may stop laying with worry…..I have not been drinking, and I do not want to upset people but I want a scientist or someone into zoology  to help me out…I rest my case…..

Thank you, I was going to check the internet as I thought there must be some articles on studies. zzmine have also become very tame and I can pick them up easily, I don't like that if I have to dispatch them, I would rather them put up a bit of a chase, never mind, we carn't have it all ways. It's better for them if they are not scared and running around right before dispatching them, plus the meat is better and they pluck easier.
