Join us for the 25th Annual Organic Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Show. There will be organic fruit, vegetables and produce to buy, a chance to taste the fresh produce on display, advice on how to grow fruit and veg, refreshments, and a series of fascinating talks, listed below.
10.30:Top Ten Tips for Tasty Tomatoes A talk by WYOG member and renowned organic tomato expert Terry Marshall.
11.30:Hot Beds WYOG member Jack First on how to set up and use hot beds to grow perfect early and late crops. Jack was featured in a recent series of BBC Gardener’s World.
12.30:Protecting Our Organic Heritage James Campbell, the new CEO of Garden Organic, will talk about protecting traditional seed varieties.
With over sixty categories to enter there is something for everyone (kids too!) so why not have a go? Don’t forget, everything is judged as nature intended – on taste!
