Garlic Marco is a soft neck type garlic bulb which produces cloves which are easily stored and split for cooking. Garlic marco produces bulbs which have a distinctive strong flavour and can be used fresh or they can be stored for up to a year and eaten both raw or cooked.
Softneck varierty - softneck garlic varieties are the best ones to grow if you live in a milder climate. They don't form scapes, and generally form several small cloves per head. They mature quicker than hardneck varieties. Softneck varieties tend to store better than hardneck varieties, so this is the type to grow for long-term storage.
