I keep seeing the post and thought at first it said your grandad had died!! THat would be a lot sadder but still upsetting to loose a pet or livestock, unless its a planned dinner  ;)
goosepimple, the main problem is cats always seem to want to go to the other side of a main road,I had a cat that did that every day when we had a garden that was 2 thirds of an acre and a private woodland behind, course one day he got run over too, so sad to see them killed!!!!

Thanks Sandy, yes, its making me a bit paranoid about the remaining black cat and black dog!
registered soay, castlemilk moorit  and north ronaldsay sheep, pygmy goats, steinbacher geese, muscovy ducks, various hens, lots of visiting mallards, a naughty border collie, a puss and a couple of guinea pigs

we're on a bend and in a dip simultaneously - you're on us before you know it - our black cat who's nickname is Chub (stating the obvious) is a lazy little number and is probably not going to be bothered wandering anywhere other than the kitchen window cill, here's hoping!
