Can anybody please tell me how I can get rid of ticks on my pigs

iv never had ticks on my pigs but if its the same as dog ticks, then you can get a little tool that helps you twist them out -

There are loads around here at the minute, even made front page of local papers! Several people have told me you put vaseline all over them as while they are buried in the skin they breathe out the rear so they have to release to come out for air. It would be the first thing I would try if any of my animals or us had any. Worth a go!
