Before I put them in the mart as culls, I thought I'd offer them here.

I have 5 wilts horn ewes for sale - all are 2009 born, so should live for a good few years yet. I am culling them from my flock as they needed assistance at lambing or were barren.

Therefore I would not put them to the ram, I find these things tend to repeat themselves.

However, they have plenty of years left in them, sound feet and are wool-shedding. I never feed them anything other than grass and they have a very low incidence of strike, due to the wool shedding.

'Medium ewes' (culls) made an average of 67.27 in Salisbury Market on Oct 2nd (I wouldn't class them as 'best' ewes because they are not a commercial breed  - nor 'poor' they are in good nick).

I would take 60/head for them. Delivery possible.

Thanks,

Steve.
