Can I feed my pigs maize silage as part of their diet? Has anyone tried this?

A neighbour has an excess he said he can give me so worth a go, no?

TIA for any answers!

Take a look at this  http://livestocktrail.illinois.edu/porknet/questionDisplay.cfm?ContentID=5201
and make your own mid up.

But already mentioned here  https://www.accidentalsmallholder.net/forum/index.php?topic=10029.0

My own opinion, maybe not as the quality of silage maybe unknown.

I fed them some today and they seemed to really enjoy it! I will continue to do this just as part of their diet, they will still get their normal rations and greens too!
