one of my pigs has got a large hematamo on one of her ears.  it doesn't bother her,  but the ear is quite heavy and flops forward. is there any treatment or shall I leave it, she only has about another 3 or 4 weeks before she goes to the abattoir..
thanks
Neil

Shouldn't worry about it. Cheap cut of meat  :yuck: . Put a note of the food chain section on the movement form.

No experience in pigs but when my dog had one it looked horrible but didn't cause any discomfort. I guess you should fine out what caused it and eliminate that. The only treatment is an operation, so in your case I'd leave alone
