I used to make this when I was a young'un...cheaper than white lightning and more potent! Sound like an alcoholic, I know.....but I did have lots of friends for some reason
1 litre of pineapple juice
bag of sugar ( white gran ) 1kg
Pack of wine yeast
dissolve sugar in some hot water, pour pineapple juice into demi john, add dissolved sugar and yeast, top up with water, add airlock and wait for 2 weeks.
the sediment looks like cottage cheese!
never did leave any to mature!
