Hi from Dumfries & Galloway

 Hi everyone

My name is Zoe, I am 30 yrs old, I live with my husband Pete, 18mth old son Seth and our chocolate lab and 4 hens out in the sticks. We have been growing our own veggies for a couple of years, but only got our hens at the beginning of August. We run our handmade furniture business from our workshop out back and are slowly making progress towards the dream of self sufficiency. I love being inspired by the posts on this site and look forward to getting to know a few of you.

Hi, Zoe. Glad you've joined us - there's quite a lot of folk now!

I passed through D&G today on my way to the rare breed sale at Carlisle. What part are you in?

Welcome Zoe - this TAS family is growing - truely international - and as others will tell you, a wealth of knowledge from a lot of very kind people.

I am sure will just love it, and I look forward to reading your contributions.

Hi & Welcome Zoe,

My husband is also a cabinet maker by trade, We plan to have a wood workshop in the barn sometime next year!  But first we have to put a roof on it ::) Always something else in the way!  I'm looking forward to Matt making our staircase & kitchen in the house.  So I especially look forward to hearing about the kind of furniture you make.
Warm Regards
Donna
