Kune cross piglets for sale SW Scotland
« on: April 22, 2018, 02:51:46 pm »
We have a number of Kune cross piglets for sale, ready to go from this week onwards. The males are entire and must be slaughtered for meat or castrated at the buyer's expense. Females also available.

These are the perfect smallholder pigs, easy to handle, very domesticated, chiefly grazing not rooting, (although they do root, especially in winter), and very hardy.  The meat is sweet.

We can deliver for a small fee, or come and collect and see the parents and siblings born last August to see their growth.

Hallo there
The boar, who we bred ourselves, is full Kune, the sow (bought) is said to be Kune cross potbelly, so the piglets are 3/4 kune. They have the Kune appearance, however, only one has proper piri, and ironically they are not as 'fat and round' as they could be, which suits us as we are breeding for meat.
They are £40 each.
