I have just surrendered my rented fields having cut down on stock over the past few years. I still have to find good homes for a few more and wonder if anyone would be interested in taking them. First and foremost they must go to a good home. I have three Dorset X ewes, 4-5 years old, never lambed. I also have one little girl who is a bit Dorset a bit Bowmont and a bit Ouessant so she's not very big but has a lovely fine fleece, same age as the other three. I also have a 3/4 Bowmont 1/4 Dorset wether who also has an amazing fine fleece. This boy does have horn buds which require trimming occassionally as they grow at an odd angle. Finally I have a Bowmont ram (horned - great fleece) and a couple of Dorset rams. All of them are 4-5 years old. We are on the Conwy Denbighshire border near Corwen. If you are interested in giving my sheepies a good home please message me. May be able to deliver for cost of fuel - a nice tame (ish), relatively easy to handle starter flock for a first time smallholder perhaps! Someone who wants good fleece for craft of spinning - Bowmont is rare in this respect.
** I should add the ewes haven't lambed because they've not been put to the ram - they are all pets. Don't want much for them if they are going to a good home - can deliver for cost of fuel within say, 75 miles of Corwen, north Wales
