We have some daffodils in the polytunnel and about a week ago there was a queen bumble bee on them.  There was a tortoiseshell butterfly out and about today and the lark has been singing for a week.  Lambs skipping in the sunshine, grass starting to grow, first flowers on the chilli plants, yes spring is here, and with the wind backed to a southerly I expect swallows any day.
