First lamb has arrived!
« on: April 14, 2018, 11:58:45 am »
So excited, our first lamb arrived this morning. They are either Shetland X Suffolk or Shetland X texel, assuming this little fella is out of a Suffolk tup. First time lamb for ewe too and she is a natural. Plan is to keep him on as a wether companion for our eventual tup as flock grows.

Thinking another of the ladies isn't far off either, seems to be breathing a little heavier and looking up, so fingers crossed all goes as well with her.

Congratulations.  It’s wonderful isn’t it. :sheep: :hugsheep:
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
