Tree damage

There's a broad knowledge on here, does anyone care to hazard a guess as to what animal caused this tree damage on this larch?

(I do already know, just interested if anyone can identify the mammal.)

The damage is similar in appearance to red deer bark stripping, but in this case it's a different animal.

I'd say it's something with incissors on only it's bottom jaw.  looks quite similar to how sheep strip pine trees in the snow

Sheeponthebrain is closest. No top incisors, similar to sheep and deer - It's Llama damage.  :llama:
