Hello there,

I have two frizzle bantams and one of them is quite bald (see pictures).

He's always been this way and the skin doesn't look sore at all, the feathers just don't seem properly formed (unlike the other one).
He doesn't seem to be picked on at all and he's very active and eating plenty.

Is he just a it odd looking or is it something I'm doing / not doing?

Presumably the feather form of frizzles is a mutation, and this lad has mutated a bit too far.

As I understand it the mutation means the feathers aren't waterproof and therefore frizzles need permanent protection from rain.  If it's OK otherwise I'd not worry but not breed from it.
