Quad bike 2WD vs 4WD

Hi. We are looking at buying a second hand honda quad.  We want to tow a small trailer, topper/mower and chain harrow behind it. Will 2WD be powerful enough or does it need to be a 4WD?

If you are only using on dryish land then 2WD is adequate, has a better turning circle and does less chewing up of the ground.  If you are plugging through mud then 4WD.

A 2WD wont go anywhere except sideways in the wet and tears up the land if anything but bone dry.

Huge difference between a 2WD and a 4WD - get a switchable 2WD/4WD, you wont regret it. If you can get front difflock even better.
