not enough ear

One of our ewes has torn her ear tag out, and it's made quite a mess.  If there's not enough ear left for a replacement tag, what do you do?

Put two in the other ear? If their the looped tags make sure you snip the loop and they don't catch as badly.

Torn ears can be repaired with Superglue if done when the wound edges are still fresh.


I would leave replacing the tag until she is going somewhere, as long as she has a tag in the other ear.
