Part time Campsite / Glamping Warden/s

A seasonal position is available on our small informal glamping site in Dumfries & Galloway, South West Scotland.  It would be ideally suited to an experienced couple (or individual) who are looking for plenty of time off to explore, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings this part the UK is famed for.  Having your own touring caravan or motorhome is a requirement.

We are looking for someone to work 3 days per week with alternating weekend shifts (onsite 24hrs).  Most working days would consist of around 4 hours of focused work, with the remainder being on cover in your accommodation - handling reception check-ins and guest enquiries.

Duties to include -
Guest reception meets and greets
Accommodation and site facilities cleaning & setup
Minor maintenance tasks
Groundcare

Applicant/s would require -
A friendly and accommodating nature, with a good customer approach
High standards and attention to detail
Comfortable using the telephone (mobile phone provided) and computer (booking system)
Practical skills for minor maintenance tasks

Your own caravan, campervan or motorhome is required but a pitch with water, electricity and wi-fi will be supplied along with access to laundry facilities.  You will also have access to a greenhouse and small allotment area where you can grow your own fruit and vegetables if desired.

The season will start around mid March 2018 and run until early November 2018 – but maybe extended.

Onsite we have bike hire, fishery and livery yard, plus various farm animals – so would further suit someone who has interest in these areas.

This role may also be suited to someone wishing to bring their own horse with them on a DIY livery basis in return for some extra hours worked either on the glamping site and / or in the stables.

If you have all the above requirements and would like to learn more, please drop us a mail with your experience and current situation to info@gorsebank.com
