Meet Nigella
« on: January 22, 2018, 06:46:27 pm »
I mentioned her on another thread. She was one of a small flock of stray sheep that came on our and. it took a while to find the owner and have him come get them..by which time Nigella was bounding up to us for a little hand-fed treat when we go see our own pet sheep. She was way more forward than the others of her flock and the owner gave her to us when we asked (anyway he's got lots).
Just another pet now.

Thank goodness Nigella is a sheep - I wouldn't want to meet the other one  :innocent:

Did you brush her for that photo or is she naturally so fleecy?  I think she's some-ewe who practices cute faces in the mirror  8)

No brushing - very much softer feeling fleece compared to our other pets who have tight spiral wool. Also a chance she's pregnant since some of the rest of her stray flock were well bagged up.
She's happy to be fed, petted around the head but I haven't wanted to scare her yet and grab her for palpation - time should make it obvious.
